1. Dine-In Orders
Refunds for dine-in orders are generally not provided unless there is a significant issue with the food or service. In such cases:
- Please inform our staff immediately so we can address the issue during your visit.
- Refunds or replacements may be offered at the discretion of the management.
2. Takeout and Delivery Orders
We take care to ensure that all takeout and delivery orders meet our high standards. If there is an issue with your order, please follow these steps:
- Contact Us Promptly: Notify us within 24 hours of receiving your order.
- Provide Details: Include your order number, a description of the issue, and photos if applicable (e.g., wrong item, missing item, or food quality concerns).
- Resolution Options: Depending on the situation, we may offer:
- A replacement of the item(s).
- A partial or full refund.
- A credit for future purchases.
3. Conditions for Refunds and Returns
Refunds and returns are subject to the following conditions:
- Proof of Purchase: You must provide proof of purchase, such as a receipt or order confirmation.
- Food Handling: Refunds will not be issued for food that has been consumed beyond a reasonable amount or improperly stored after delivery.
- No Refunds for Preferences: Refunds are not issued for personal taste preferences or incorrect orders made by the customer.
4. Special Events and Catering Orders
For catering orders and private events:
- Deposits: Deposits are non-refundable unless the event is canceled at least 72 hours in advance.
- Order Discrepancies: Any issues with the catering order must be reported within 2 hours of delivery or pickup.
5. Gift Cards
Gift cards purchased from Chang Pai are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
6. Refund Processing
Refunds, if approved, will be processed as follows:
- Payments made via credit/debit cards will be refunded to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.
- Cash payments will be refunded at the restaurant.
